Explore the ancient arts of string making and twined basket weaving using natural materials. Twining is one of the major basketry techniques and involves weaving where two or more elements cross each other as they weave around spokes. It can be used to create a range of different shapes and patterns. In this workshop we will make a small bag. The workshop will also include discussion on the collection and preparation of natural materials.
