On a twill threading

Explore the great diversity of twills. The twill threading is possibly the most commonly utilised threading. This workshop explores the multitude of patterns that can be achieved from this threading. The diversity is further enhanced when variations of the twill threading are used. Yet these threading sequences can also be used for much more.

In addition to exploring technique, take the opportunity to explore colour and how it interacts with others. Learn how how optical colour mixing is achieved.

This workshop is more than just a series of samples. It is a means of developing a library of effects as well as weaving something uniquely designed by you: a collection of your very own custom designed executive tea towels.

Requirements: 4, 8 or more shaft loom. The loom should be threaded prior to the workshop.

So you don’t have a loom? Let Go Create know and one can be provided for rental. It comes pre-threaded. Cost of rental covers pre-threading of loom and in colours of your choice.
